Claudia Garcia was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She arrived in the U.S. at just 11 months old for a better future with her family.
She has been in the U.S. ever since. Claudia is a fluent Spanish speaker and writer. Due to her immigration status, Claudia took enormous interest in the study of immigration law at an early age. She applied for and received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status in 2014. This process and status are what inspired Claudia to work at an immigration law firm that serves immigrant clients.
As a legal assistant at the Adelayo Law Firm, Claudia tends to put herself in our clients’ shoes or positions. Claudia knows the joys and disappointments of immigration law, she has seen it firsthand. She is very passionate and committed to our clients’ causes. Claudia’s motivation comes from the positive outcomes of all her clients’ applications. She believes in the concept of ‘changing Lives, one client at a time.’ On her free time, she loves to be outdoors, watching Disney movies with her daughter, and spending time with family.
